Ancestral Blood was first musically put together in 1999 by Verigo who is known for more Violent Black Metal works in his older band Vesterian. The music for Ancestral Blood was created in a different light and a more artistic sense based on a sound that molds beauty and darkness with epic tales and legends. The first complete line up was in 2002 consisting of Vesterian members at that time.
